Amanda Rea is a highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical practice across New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Originally trained in New Zealand at the University of Otago, she has worked as a consultant and senior physiotherapist in private practice, specialising in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
Her expertise includes the management of knee, ankle, hip, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries, with a specialist interest in spinal pain, spinal-referred pain, headaches, and acupuncture. Amanda adopts a problem-solving approach to assessment and treatment, aiming to identify the underlying cause of each client’s condition. She works collaboratively with clients to deliver targeted therapy programmes designed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Amanda is passionate about helping people stay active and believes that everyone should be able to move and function with minimal or no pain. Her treatments combine hands-on therapy, education, and structured rehabilitation to support long-term recovery and prevention.

Outside of her physiotherapy career, Amanda is an active sportswoman who enjoys travelling, running, and spending time with her family. She represented the Netherlands in touch rugby at the Elegance Tournament in Paris (2022) and was the physiotherapist for the Netherlands Women’s Touch Team at the 2024 World Championships in Nottingham. She also completed the National Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours and continues to seek new challenges to inspire her clients and pursue her own passion for health and fitness.
